General settings cover your personal preferences and workspace defaults. Access them from the Settings icon at the bottom of the left sidebar, then click General.

What you’ll find here

The General settings page has two main sections:

Theme

Choose the appearance of your Hops workspace:
  • System — match your operating system’s light or dark setting.
  • Light — always use the light theme.
  • Dark — always use the dark theme.

Notifications

Toggle notification preferences on or off. Notifications keep you informed when something needs your attention: an agent’s output is ready, someone mentions you, or an action needs your approval. Under Notification sound, pick the sound Hops plays for in-app notifications. Use the preview button next to each option to hear it before saving.
